Pati + De-stress

Hello,

I've been under stress recently and oh boy, I hope you guys keep calm in and stay positive in every situation. I wanted to tell you that story but "ain't nobody got time for that". Instead, I decided to make a list of de-stress do's. Nothing special, you probably know it without me. But just gentle reminder ;)

1)  Try to avoid everything that can potentially annoy you even more.
Focus on yourself. Even your friends can't be jerks. Don't listen to anyone who tries to bother and tease you. Think about result or target you working for and don't give up.

2) Change the environment around
Leave the "negative place". Go for a little walk and refresh your mind. That situation is probably not as bad as it wants to look like. Trust me, there's a solution always.

3) If you have time, do something that cheer you up!
Listen to your favourite music. But honestly, it's not longer works with me because if I'm sad I want to listen to sad or hard music and die in tears lol.  I found dancing work just perfectly! When I dance I can focus only on movements and there's no more space in brains to think about problems. It's just a nice relief. If you are book-lover, go for it! Shopping, sport, TV show, whatever. Everyone have something.

4) Go claim about your problem to someone who can listen to and support you.
BUT do no spend to much time for it unless you gonna end up even more upset! Just get rid off this emotion. Trust me, it feels nice.

5) Food is a treatment, seriously.
I know it can cause some after effect if you eat too much to fill better. Although treat yourself within limits. One cookie or small pack of chips. Once in a while! The great alternative for those who don't allow it themselves is dessert flavored tea! I swear god, some teas taste just like birthday cake or macaroon.

6) Chamomile and lavender can calm you down.
Aromatherapy - essential oils and candles can help you too. Speaking about teas, this herbs are so good in teas. By the way, recently, I tried lavender hot white chocolate. Oh  my gosh, it's so yummy. Tastes actually just like milk with hits of vanilla and lavender. I bet it was syrup or just flavor drop. So we can  make it home easily!

7) Fake your mood
Scientists don't lie, it works. Fake a widest smile and stand in "power pose". You'll feel better! You can even try to laugh :D

Yours,

Pati

  1. You're right! Dessert teas are satisfying if you don't have/can't have any "real" sweets. Think I'll have some salted caramel this morning!
